One Little Finger

This little rhyme will help your child learn words for body parts. It’s also a good chance to play at a game where they need to take turns.

This little rhyme will help your child learn words for body parts. It’s also a good chance to play at a game where they need to take turns.

The rhyme goes:

“One little finger, one little finger, one little finger, tap, tap, tap.”

Point to their nose, then point to yours and do a little clap.

“Two little fingers, two little fingers, two little fingers, tap, tap, tap.”

Point to your chin, then to another, and do a little clap.

Repeat this up to five fingers and find different body parts to point to!

Good to know

By repeating words and pointing in this nursery rhyme, your baby will learn their body parts.
